Thought: The persons who
row the boat
generally don't have time to rock it!
Unique Diversified Services, Inc., was incorporated in the State of Maryland in
September 1993, and has been a successful business entity for over 18 years.
UNIQUE is a woman and veteran-owned business that was previously certified by the U.
S. Small Business Administration as an 8a contractor.
The "boat rowers" are retired Federal personnel managers who worked in
several Departments and independents agencies, as well as serving as instructors
for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. They have in-depth experience on
both sides of the human resources management house: operations and policy.
The "rowers" are active with their professional association, the prestigious
International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-HR). The "roller"
President served at the local level as a Chapter President, and as President of a
conglomerate of local Chapters from Washington, D. C., Maryland, and Virginia. The
"roller" Executive Vice President is an Honorary Life Member of IPMA-HR.
Also, he received the Warner W. Stockberger Achievement Award in
recognition of his contribution toward the improvement of public personnel
management at any level of government. This award is the highest
achievement award presented by the Association. He has served at all levels of the Association. At
the international level he was a member of the Executive
Council and served as the Program Chair for one of the annual
international conferences. On the regional level he served both as an Eastern Region President, and
the Treasurer, respectively. Locally, he was Chapter President of the
Montgomery County (MD) Chapter.
The technological advances in our world are awesome! Since we want to stay on "the cutting edge," UNIQUE had
to enter the field of Web Dynamics (domain
name registration, web site hosting and web site design). Our webmaster was professionally trained, and
received a certificate in web page design from the U.
S. Department of Agriculture Graduate School (USDA), Washington, D. C.
USDA is the official provider of training services for the Federal Government.
We'll continue to enhance our skills through hands-on and professional training.
On the HR side of the house, since the "rollers" are also trainers, we recognize how
important it is to possess and apply technical and empirical knowledge in order to be successful.
UNIQUE offers a courteous, flexible, service-oriented approach and
"diversified" services to its clients. Our goal is to provide high
quality, integrated professional services. UNIQUE strives for and values
total client satisfaction. The testimony of our many "repeat" clients attests
